Is Vaginal and Anal Bleaching Painful?
The non-ablative laser as well as the peeling are not painful at all, hence local anesthesia is not required. As for the ablative laser, there is a certain degree of discomfort experienced, however, this will be reduced by using local anesthetic cream prior to the treatment.
How Does Vaginal & Anal Bleaching Work?
Dr. Maria combines in her protocols laser, peelings, growth factors, and skincare products.
Two different kinds of laser are used, depending on the needs of the patient.
CO2 fractional laser – FemiLift
Er:YAG laser – Fotona 4D
Both of these lasers work by resurfacing the skin in an ablative or non-ablative way. Ablative lasers are more intense and they can only be used for skin types 1,2,3, whereas non-ablative are milder and can be used for all skin types.
The laser treatments promote collagen growth, ensuring new skin cells grow back lighter, tighter, and more toned. Hence they reduce hyperpigmentation and promote collagen growth at the same time.
The peelings used for intimate bleaching are very mild and can be nicely combined with laser adding to the rejuvenating outcomes.
In addition, products with growth factors or PRP will be used to increase the lightening effect. After the in-office procedure, you will be given home-care creams for further skin hydration and supporting the laser and peeling results.
How Many Sessions Are Needed?
Since the skin differs from one woman to the next, there is no fixed number of treatment sessions. In some cases, just one laser and one peeling session can be enough, while in other cases one peeling and up to four laser sessions may be required for an optimal outcome.
Dr. Maria will assess you after four weeks whereby she will discuss with you the next steps of your vaginal and anal bleaching journey.
